About Minister Bukola Bekes

Minister Bukola Bekes is a renowned Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, worship leader, and composer whose music ministry continues to bless lives across the globe. Born in Agege, Lagos State, into a Christian and musically gifted family, she began her journey in music as a child in the Anglican Church choir before joining the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), where her calling blossomed.

A highly respected figure in gospel music, Minister Bukola Bekes currently serves as one of the lead Praise and Worship Ministers at RCCG’s City of David Parish, Lagos, the headquarters of Region 20—also known as the Favored Family. She is a prominent voice in the RCCG National Mass Choir, regularly leading worship at the Redemption Camp during monthly Holy Ghost Services and major international conventions.

Her breakthrough came in 2005 when she composed the theme song for the RCCG Holy Ghost Congress, earning her the endearing nickname “Olorikokoro” (Master Key) for her anointed worship leadership. Since then, she has composed several theme songs for RCCG’s Special Holy Ghost Services and global events.

Minister Bukola Bekes is the visionary leader of  “Bukola Bekes & The Paradise Minstrels”, a gospel band known for its powerful, spirit-filled worship. Through their ministry, she has ministered internationally at major platforms like the Festival of Life (FOL) held at London’s Excel Centre, as well as in Ireland, Dubai, the Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand.

Her musical style is a unique fusion of traditional Yoruba rhythms and contemporary gospel sounds, characterized by spontaneous worship, rich instrumentation, and deep lyrical content. Her songs resonate strongly within Nigerian churches and the global gospel community.

She is also the co-founder of ALONE WITH GOD (AWG), a worship initiative that gathers believers across Nigeria and beyond to praise God for the nation every first Sunday of the month, trusting in divine intervention for national transformation.
