About THE BEKES

The Bekes, Ministers Damilola and Bukola Bekes, are a spiritually anointed and musically gifted gospel duo, called to lead souls into deeper worship through their unique sound and heartfelt ministrations. United in purpose and passion, they have become a powerful force in the Nigerian and global gospel music scene, combining their individual talents into a vibrant ministry that exalts God and touches lives.

Bukola Bekes, a powerful worship leader, composer, and singer, started her music journey in the Anglican Church choir and now serves as a leading voice in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). Damilola Bekes, a skilled saxophonist, producer, and music consultant, grew up in a musically inclined family and discovered early that music was not just a gift but a divine calling. They were joined in holy matrimony in 2006, and together they have raised not just a family, but a global worship movement.

Together, they lead “Bukola & Damilola Bekes and The Paradise Minstrels” and are central figures in Paradise Music Global, a music label and ministry with a presence in Nigeria, the UK, Ireland, and beyond. Their music is known for its deep spiritual atmosphere, fusing Yoruba traditional rhythms, contemporary gospel, jazz, and spontaneous worship. Through their sound, they usher worshipers into divine encounters marked by healing, revival, and joy.

The Bekes have ministered at major events across the world, including the Festival of Life in London, Dubai, Ireland, and the Netherlands, and have been featured at RCCG Holy Ghost Services, Special Conventions, and other global gospel platforms. They composed several theme songs for RCCG events and serve in the church’s national music department.

Their maiden joint concert, WORSHIP EXPERIENCE, held on July 14, 2019, at the MUSON Centre in Lagos, was a landmark moment in their ministry. It has since grown into a series of international editions, held in collaboration with RCCG churches in the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

Their rich discography includes Immortal God, His Praise, Iranlowo (My Help), Praise Medley, Yadah, Jehovah, Grateful Heart, This Day is Blessed, Living Testimony, and more. Each song is filled with lyrics that speak life, instruments that stir the soul, and a passion that leads worshipers to God.

Beyond music, they co-founded ALONE WITH GOD (AWG), a monthly worship initiative focused on interceding for Nigeria through praise, held every first Sunday of the month. They also mentor rising gospel ministers and contribute to worship excellence in educational and church settings.

Blessed with beautiful children and a growing spiritual family, the Bekes remain committed to using their gifts to glorify God, uplift the body of Christ, and release the sound of revival across the nations.
