Minister Damilola Bekes is a Nigerian gospel saxophonist, music minister, and producer known for his deep passion for worship and excellence in sound. Born in Ondo State into a musically inclined family, his early exposure to church music, particularly through his father, a long-serving church organist, shaped his love for music. Though initially interested in business or law, Damilola recognized his true calling was to serve God through music.
He is best known for his expressive saxophone playing, which he uses to create a rich blend of traditional African rhythms and contemporary gospel. In 2006, he took on a leadership role at Paradise Music Limited, where he currently serves as Vice President and CEO. Through this platform, he has mentored young artists and helped produce impactful gospel music that has reached audiences within and beyond Nigeria.
Minister Damilola is also a vital figure in the Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG, where he serves as an Audio Production Analyst and saxophonist at the Redemption Camp. His role in major events such as the Holy Ghost Services and annual conventions has made him a familiar and beloved figure within the RCCG family. He is also a member of the RCCG National Praise Team, where he serves as the Head of the Horns/Woodwind Department in the RCCG National Praise Team.
Internationally, he has ministered in countries like the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, New Zealand, and the United Arab Emirates. His appearance at the Festival of Life in London stands out among many international engagements.
